We will begin this page with a feature about a very unique and very American phenomenon which took place approximately during the middle 50 years of the 20th century in mostly the Southern United States, although "The Goat Man" traveled through most other areas of the country from time to time. The Goat Man was a part of the days of my youth, growing up in a wonderful time in our nation's history. The horrible World War II was just over, people were filled with patriotism, optimism and good will, and were busily getting about their lives amidst a crime-free setting of basic honesty, morality, patriotism and love of country, religious freedom and worship of God. Such a phenomenon as "The Goat Man" certainly could not occur today and could only have
taken place back in those days and earlier. He has a special place in my heart and I deeply (and bitterly) morn the passing of those days which could cradle such a one as he. God rest his soul.

     Charles "Ches" McCartney was his name. I never knew it until three years ago when Robert Bonner, a Carrollton High School classmate friend of years ago (Carrollton, Georgia) sent me a photo which his parents had taken once when the Goat man came through there, along with other information and the URL of one of the many nostalgic websites which then existed honoring Mr. McCartney's memory. It has been generally believed that Edgar Bergen named his dummy Charlie McCatrhy after him. Mr. McCartney lived as he pleased, a carefree life of leisurely travel, mostly with the seasons and much like a migrating bird. He went northward in the summer and back south in the winter. His mission in life was just that, to wander, to be a witness of his Savior Jesus Christ and to establish a Mission in South Georgia for the bringing of Salvation to all it could. He did establish the Mission, the Free Thinking Christian Mission in Jefferson, Georgia, and the sale of his religious tracts and other material (such as needle-threaders, picture postcards of he and his wagon and goats, and stories of his travels) to whoever would buy as he went along, supported it and other churches.
     Whether you bought anything or not he thanked you for your visit and asked you to come back next time he came through. He traveled the highways and byways of America at the leisurely walking pace of approximately 1 1/2 to 2 miles per hour as he walked along with an average of 20 to 30 of his beloved goats following along (but sometimes over a hundred goats), the biggest of them pulling an old railroad baggage wagon (at times two of them hooked together) with iron wheels which in the beginning were probably shod with a thin layer of rubber. He once said, "If you have no specific place to go and no definite time to be there, speed ceases to be an important factor."
    The wagon was his only shelter and home.   For bad weather it had goat skins for a cover and it contained his entire worldly possessions. Pots and pans, other camp equipage, old car tags and roadside junk he picked up rattled when a bump was encountered, and he usually stopped about sundown to make camp, mostly at places he had stopped the year before, where there was water, shade, and where he knew he was welcome and those in the area were friendly towards him.
     Mr. McCartney was friendly and outgoing, open and talkative to all he met, and welcomed all comers to his campsite, letting them sample his cookery and the children pet his goats. He met with all kinds of reactions to him and his goats; admiration, ridicule, sympathy, respect, derision, envy, curiosity and more, but only twice was he physically harmed seriously, and this far into the "Me" generation in the late 1960's and later in the 70's. Those who ridiculed him vocally found him to be gentle but sharp-witted and he gave better than he got, leaving those who ridiculed him embarrassed and red in the face:

As everyone stood around listening to the goat bells ringing and talking among themselves, a well-dressed gentleman walked up. After a minute he told the Goat Man, "If you would take a bath and clean up, more people would come to see you." The Goat Man looked up at the man without really raising his head and said, "When is the last time you had a bath?" The man replied in a bragging voice, "Why, I had a bath this morning!" The Goat Man then asked, "How many people have come to look at you today?" The man then replied, "Well, nobody has come." The Goat Man then lowered his eyes back to the fire and said, "I haven't had a bath in over twenty years, and over three hundred people have come to see me this morning."
I never will forget the embarrassed look on that man's face as he hurriedly walked away. The whole crowd roared with laughter, including myself. The Goat Man never cracked a grin!

    The Goat Man knew all of his goats by name and they appeared to almost worship the man. One he called Billy Blue Horns ("Old Billy")was with him for 30 years - he died a few days after some degenerate shot a hunting arrow into him one night. In cold or bad weather the youngest and/or feeblest and ailing of them slept in the wagon with him, they all curling up together keeping each other warm. On visiting his camp at night one was apt to find him curled up in his, as he put it, "maternity ward," surrounded by all the kids and reading a bible by the light of a kerosene lantern. As one would imagine, the Goat Man smelled strongly of goats for which he made no apology. Not accepting pity or something for nothing, he is said to have commented, "I have running water every time it rains, and heat every summer. And I don't have to worry about water and electric bills." Some people brought him feed for his goats or other things he could use (for which he "paid" with the items he sold) and he commented on several occasions, "My goats work hard and they like to live high." He carried his own "firewood" in the form of old tires picked up along the road, from which he cut pieces to burn for his campfires, saying "I just couldn't eat without the smell of burning rubber. It wouldn't taste the same or be as good." When he left his campsite he buried his trash, picked up after his visitors, and left the area as he had found it.
     The Iowa native started wandering in his youth. Beginning in 1915 at the age of 14, he ran off from Iowa to New York City where he sold newspapers, married a 24 year old Spanish girl 10 years his senior, and was her target for her knife throwing act for about two years. It is said he married at least twice more, then went back to farming in Iowa. When the depression took his nice farm near Sigourney, Iowa, leaving him with only his Bible, another book and his small herd of goats, he finally went on the road full time with his wife and young son.   It was said that this was originally because he had a wanderlust that came from reading that other book, Robinson Crusoe. His wife got tired of that life and left him some time later.
      He began his travels in his goat-pulled iron-wheeled railroad baggage wagon loaded with pots and pans, hay and old car tags, and for 40 years this strange caravan traveled across the nation virtually at a snail's pace. He traveled mostly in the South, but was seen all over the country and claimed to have traveled through all the 48 contiguous states. Knowledge of his coming preceded him, and people stopped what they were doing to watched him pass or visit him after he camped for the night. Children were hoisted on shoulders to see him and his goats as they passed.
    Mr. McCartney, in his travel-worn clothes and long gray beard, was an ordained preacher and would preach the Salvation of God to any who would listen.    He once said, "The goats have taught me a lot in the past 30 years. They don't, for example, care how I smell or how I look." He once said he was born in 1879, but a few records, none of them verifiable, indicate he was 97 when he died. He wrote in a book given to a friend that he was born July 6, 1901 in Van Buren Township, Keokuk County, Iowa.

Mr. McCartney's goat-powered travel was ended one night on Signal Mountain, Tennessee when he was mugged, knocked out, badly cut up and 6 of his goats had their throats slashed while he was unconscious. Having never harmed anyone in his life, this brutal treatment proved more than he could bear. He parked his wagon at his humble shack in Jefferson, Georgia and for a few more years he hoboed around the country with his cane wearing a ball cap, wing-tipped shoes, and a pack on his back. When someone asked him when he planned on ending his travels, he simply replied, "By golly bud, when I die, I guess!"

     He went to Los Angeles a few years later to try to capture the heart of well known Hollywood actress Morgan Fairchild with the intent of marriage. There he was again mugged and robbed. Back home his shack burned and he then took up residence in an old school bus until some years later when he went to a nursing home. There he found a new girlfriend, a retired nurse, and they could often be seen holding hands and wandering the nursing home, or else "having a date" as one put it, in the cafeteria.
       Mr. McCartney died of natural causes in a rest home at Macon, Georgia. He was buried at his hometown next to his son at Jefferson, Georgia, who had been mysteriously murdered some years earlier. Funeral director Harold Reese stated, "There have been people from all over wanting to know how to get here."
     Mr. McCartney's life was chronicled in a 1993 film by Jimmy C. Hammett; "Goat Man, the Life and Times of Ches McCartney," and in a definitive 1994 book, "America's Goat Man" by Darryl Patton. A sequel to Mr. Hammett's fine film was made, which focused on Mr. McCartney's life in Georgia, but I do not have the particulars on this. (See new information below(*). Mr. Hammett has said, "I don't think America will let anyone like him exist anymore." How true. What a shame. And what a grievous indictment of the times in which we now live.

     A kinfolk of mine on the Brock side (Tony Coalson), upon reading this article, emailed me of the time he saw the Goat Man when Tony was 8 years old, near Carrollton, Georgia. He said that certain things stand out in his memory of the event, including the fact that the Goat Man had about a hundred goats with him at the time, and they strung out far up and down the road as he walked along. When he stopped to camp for the night Tony heard the Goat Man say to the boy traveling with him (this was the period when his son was traveling with him no doubt), "Get back up on the wagon, or you'll get your clothes dirty!" The Goat Man's clothes were just as dirty as the boy's clothes, or more so, said Tony.
     Another thing Tony remembers is that the police in the nearby town of Bremen put Mr. Chesney in jail briefly, on some pretext or other, but most folks did not like this at all, and the Goat Man was soon released to go on his way once more.

33 MILLION ILLEGAL MEXICAN ALIENS
(and counting...)
...and NOT 12 MILLION as you hear on the news programs, but 33 MILLION!

                                                  FOREWORD:
Recently, as we all know, the good and true Americans of the "MINUTEMEN" organization who have been monitoring certain border areas with Mexico, along with the vibrant reporting of such as Bill O'Reilly of Fox News Channel, has forced our "Conservative" president and our lily-livered politicians in Congress to make some address of this on-going, utterly outrageous situation (if you could call what they have done addressing it at all!). 6,000 National Guard troops with no law enforcement abilities or mission will make little or no difference. President Bush and Congress well know it. LIP SERVICE! WINDOW DRESSING! And the so-called "Guest Worker Program" is a JOKE and a FARCE. It is AMNESTY pure and simple, any way it can be reasonably interpreted.    OUTRAGEOUS!!!

          We can only hope that the stout-hearted True Conservative Republicans in the House of Representatives can overcome the Leftist Democrats and the so-called "Republican" weasels in the Senate, and throw out this amnesty masquerading as a "Guest Worker Program", require the law to be obeyed, and give us something that will actually change this sick situation!

...now let us cut to the chase:

          Although it is at least 25 years too late to prevent this hoard of illegal aliens, it is high time for some blunt and straight talk about it. It is time we quit moaning and groaning over this extremely distressing phenomenon which has been ongoing far, far too long, and do something about it. That something in my opinion must come in two parts; stopping it and then making the best of it. But let's first look at the verifiable facts and have a little common sense discussion to better understand and then hopefully, put this National Disgrace into the best and correct perspective.
          The law is not the problem. There are adequate laws on the books and have been all along, as to the actual illegal immigration. It is the cause and effects that we must understand at this point. But stopping illegal immigration from Mexico has been and will continue to be politically impossible unless we, you and I everyday Americans of all ethnic backgrounds, especially including those of Spanish descent, bow up and demand that illegal immigration be STOPPED and that our immigration laws be OBEYED and ENFORCED.   This blatant, ongoing disregard of our laws and the failure to enforce them must come to an end NOW!
           As to whose fault it was and who started this avalanche of illegal Mexican aliens, I will say straight out right here what every American knows down deep in his heart, no matter what his political affiliation. The Democrat Party, about the time the "Liberals" (Socialists) took over that party some years ago, started all this by passing laws, the effect of which offered what amounted to bribes in the form of welfare handouts in return for the votes of all Mexicans who would come here and get registered by either naturalization or by later amnesty passed when the Democrats were in control of congress, and these "Liberals" kept it going to the point that the floodgates were opened, we lost control of our borders, and the goal of becoming legal American citizens is no longer a goal or even a priority for these illegal aliens at this point. "Why bother?" is their attitude. Why indeed? It us up to true Americans of all ethnic backgrounds to provide the answer.

What are the causes and what is the effect?

          The cause of this illegal immigration to our country is the deep poverty in the interior of Mexico and the failure of that country's Ruling Elite to make any attempt to address or correct it. Until the Democrats allowed it when they were in control, these corrupt, tyrannical Mexican politicians knew the problem was theirs to deal with, or not. Now for many years they have totally ceased to even give lip service to raising the living standards of their own people and have been purposely EXPORTING their poverty to the United States to deal with. And fools that we are, we have allowed and CONTINUE to allow this Ongoing Invasion. No matter what you may have heard to the contrary, corruption and graft in Mexico continues unabated to this day.   Their word for it is "Mortdida", and it has been so institutionalized over so many decades in Mexican "government" that average Mexicans have given up attempts to correct it. Now, even the average Mexican has lost great respect for us and consider all Americans to be either crazy or stupid for allowing all this illegal immigration. The attitude is "We better go and get ours while there is some left." Indeed, the Leftist entertainment industry in Mexico (Socialist just like ours here) are even producing hit songs about what fools we are in America to allow this invasion of illegal Mexican aliens.           As to the "effect" part of the cause and effect question posed above, all Americans surely know by now that the effect of this graft, corruption and resulting poverty in Mexico, coupled with the treasonous Democrat bribery of the poverty-stricken Mexicans to come here in return for their votes, has been the illegal immigration to our country of 33 MILLION of them with thousands more pouring in as you read this! (The highest estimate is 39.9 Million - my figure is the most conservative!)
          This abysmal situation has been out of control for many years now and is getting worse, not better. There are currently more than 15,000 "wetbacks" (so named because they cross the Rio Grand river illegally by swimming the river somewhere along the border) streaming across our border every day - and this a conservative estimate - no one really knows.   Indeed, at the Mexican border town of Aqua Prieta alone, an average of 2,800 PER DAY - 2,000,000 in the last two years, crossed illegally according to a Fox News report and an interview (http://www.warriorsfortruth.com/borderillegals2.html) with the town Alcalde (mayor), whose administration has "declared war" on the U. S. by teaching illegals how to cross without getting caught and how to demand court hearings when they do, thereby hopelessly clogging our courts. Such as this has to be STOPPED! Most thinking Americans believe they should be deported and made to go back and go through the legal due process if they want to come back (but these same thinking Americans know it is not going to happen). The tired old argument that these illegal aliens only take jobs Americans won't take is echoed only by those who have either caused the problem, who in apathy seek to 'justify' their existence in the country now, or who are simply just ignorant and/or in denial.
          But I believe there are some aspects of this debacle the Liberal Democrats didn't count on (more on this farther down), which I hope and believe can eventually make them wish they had not sold us out - including their sellout of all those of Spanish ancestry who were naturalized by due process of law, including all those who were born here and have been honest law-abiding and patriotic American citizens ever since we became a country (such as the ones who fought beside us at the Alamo and their descendents, for independence from Mexico in 1844!). If all this illegal immigration is not fair to tax-paying Americans, imagine how inherently UNFAIR it is to those good law-abiding naturalized Mexicans who came here by lawful process and who are now proud, productive American citizens!! Where is the fairness, the justice? Usurped by unelected, Democrat-appointed, agenda-driven, activist Socialist judges!
          This situation and issue has been allowed to become the third rail of political office and the politicians of BOTH PARTIES will continue to look the other way (especially during this 2006 election season), because they have seen that especially the welfare-oriented, recent generation Latino population along with the treasonous ideological Socialists, will go to the polls and vote against them while multitudes of the "ignorant, unconcerned and indifferent center" of those and all ethnic backgrounds stay home and allow those who attempt to address the situation to be booted out of office. That is the reality as things stand today, pure and simple. You will not hear this from the Republicans (or indeed not the Democrats) - they are too afraid to tell Americans the truth.
          For a politician to even discuss this on-going Seismic Event that already has changed the nature of our country (and will profoundly change it even more in the near future and years to come) is to commit political suicide. The electorate has been and still is so ignorant, indifferent and apathetic overall, that they have not, and it appears they will not move themselves to become concerned and informed, much less to get up off their lazy hinnies, go to the polls and vote those spineless politicians of both parties out of office for not putting a stop to all this rampant illegal immigration. Politicians have NOT been penalized for their mute inaction, and they understand very well that they will loose their office if they make any genuine effort to correct this Horrible Situation. So don't blame even those right-minded but lily-livered politicians who would really prefer to act to stop it. After all, if they aren't in office they can do nothing about all the other other Leftist mischief either. Instead, look into the mirror Mr. and Mrs. America, because now, due to your complacency and inactivity, some of YOU and your inaction are the problem, not just your elected officials. So please, you millions of apathetic, indifferent, head-in-the-sand Americans of all backgrounds and political affiliations who refuse to keep informed and politically active, STOP YOUR WHINING. It makes me nauseous! Get up, get active against illegal immigration, and work to secure our borders before you utter another complaint about it!
          Stop whining too, about the BILLIONS of our tax dollars being spent on all the free education being given to these 33 million illegal Mexican aliens who pay no income taxes, school taxes or property taxes or much of any other taxes except perhaps sales taxes. Stop whining about all the free medical care they get as they keep our emergency rooms and hospital rooms full and overflowing while you have to pay through the nose and many of you can't even afford insurance.   Stop whining about our local governmental agencies being so deep in the red because of illegal immigration that they incessantly scream to raise our (YOUR) taxes to cover their jobs and all the other shortfalls caused by these illegal Mexican aliens. Perhaps you still don't know that by law (thanks to Liberal Democrats) hospitals are required by law to treat all illegal aliens - (an emergency only has to be claimed), or that Welfare agencies are compelled by law to sign them up for all the welfare handouts available to lawful citizens. All this is nothing but Democrat bribes run amok, using your tax money; the tax money of blacks, whites, Asians, legally naturalized Mexicans and all others. Perhaps you also don't know that our Social Security Trust Fund has long since been depleted (robbed) and about to go belly up directly because the Liberal politicians opened it up to these illegal aliens years ago in the form of SSI payments (Supplemental Security Income) to them and millions of other welfare malingerers every month (walking around money, don't you know) - if these illegal aliens have children in school - and they ALL do!!     Also AS A RESULT, none of the illegal Mexican aliens, even if some are naturalized, will EVER see a dime of regular monthly Social Security benefits whether they ever begin paying into it like we have done all our lives or not! And the rest of ours will be greatly reduced even more than it already is. But these Liberal politicians don't have to worry. They have set themselves up with their own special Congressional Retirement Program to which they vote themselves raises every year, in addition to OUR Social Security.   These few examples are just the tip of the Welfare Iceberg (our tax dollars) now being handed out to these 33 million illegal aliens from Mexico!   But "wait for.. the silver lining".
          I began by saying it is time for straight talk, so no, I am not sorry if I am stepping on some toes. People like me of all ancestries, white, Latino, black, Asian and others who have done their best to be involved and vote intelligently for most of their lives are mad and frustrated with those who have just sat back and done nothing all these years, because we are having to pay the price right along with the millions of irresponsible air-headed indifferent Americans who have allowed this conflagration to come upon us.
          What is now, and what will be the result of this helliferocious mess? Demographers have shown without question that in less than 20 years, Latinos will be the majority and Caucasians will be a minority in their own country, the very country they founded and brought to greatness. The next minority after Caucasians will be blacks, then Asians and then the others. Indeed, one has but to look only at the 2000 Census data and compare it to any previous Census to project these facts for themselves, and this not to call into account the multiple thousands of illegal aliens streaming almost across our borders virtually unimpeded, as we speak!
          Another result will be, (mark me now), that attempts will be made at some point, sooner not later, by the huge numbers of Mexicans in California, both illegal and otherwise, to secede from the United States and join California with Mexico. Laughably, they claim it has been theirs all along. The Leftist Media will not report that there are even now (and have been for some years), several influential radical Latino groups with large numbers organized for this very purpose (the Barrio Warriors(*) is just one of them - funded by John Kerry and his wife Teressa's TIDES Foundation), and these groups make no effort to conceal it. Only our Leftist Media are concealing this fact from the American people, by never reporting on it. What then about Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona; - other states with a common border with Mexico? Indeed, such does not appear to worry the Socialist Elite in the Democrat party in the least (i.e., John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Polosi, Hillary Clinton, et al), they are as Socialist and anti-American as they have always been (though certain ones are now mouthing Conservative sounding themes), and don't care a whit as long as they can keep their finger crooked through the ring in the noses of the unsuspecting Latinos, the "uncommitted, indifferent center", and the dim-witted, dogmatic closed-minded Yellow Dog Democrats as they have been able to do for years.

          Now let me observe at the same time, that in my humble opinion, I believe there are some possible mitigating aspects to this National Problem. I believe there is (or can be) a silver lining to this dark, foreboding cloud hanging over our country. One that the Liberals have not considered until now and are just now waking up to. Did you hear desperation in their appeals to the Latinos during their Democrat Convention in the last election? I believe I did.   They know that Conservatives (Republicans for the most part) have made large inroads into the Latino vote in recent years, and as a consequence I believe the Leftist Democrats are now running scared that more Latinos will eventually become Republicans than Democrats. In fact in the 2004 presidential election 11% more Latinos voted Republican than in 2000. Personally I would not be surprised if eventually many more become Republicans than Democrats, providing we Conservatives wake up and handle things right, and let me explain why:

          CONSIDER THESE FACTS:

                    A) These 33 million illegal Mexican aliens, by and large, are a devout Christian people (Catholic mostly). The few intelligent, educated and politically awake among them can easily see that it is the Democrat party which has taken prayer out of our public schools and from of our public speech, and who are promoting the despicable Gay lifestyle in our public schools along with the legalization of Gay marriages. More and more of these illegal Mexican aliens I believe, will see that is the Democrats who forced and are still forcing the murder of millions of babies against our (and their) Christian beliefs under the false guise of "women's choice" (it is still the most prominent plank in the Democrat Political platform) - all in direct variance with the Holy Bible and the deep Christian beliefs of the great majority of Mexicans. As time goes on I believe (and hope) that more and more Latinos, both illegal and naturalized, will awaken and reject the godless Socialism (Atheism) of the Democrat party in favor of the Conservative, Christian, traditional family values of the Republican party who are in direct opposition to the intolerance and decadence of the Liberal (Socialist) Democrats.

                    B)   The majority of these 33 million illegal Mexican aliens (but not all) have brought with them a deep-rooted work ethic and sense of personal responsibility that puts far too many American citizens to shame in comparison. What I am saying here is that the majority of illegal Mexicans have not come here with the intent of malingering and soaking up our welfare tax dollars (many have, and many more will when they need to), but rather to find work and to pull their own weight. I am able to make this statement and others given in this article on my own knowledge and experience, not on some dubious agenda-driven statistics of questionable origin. You will see this clearly as you read farther. Indeed, were me and my family living in poverty, I would do just as they have done, take whatever action that is open to me to improve our lot in life. Who can blame them, really?
          Now let me point out that some of the best friends my wife and I have ever had (and still have) are Latinos of Mexican ancestry, some going back as far as 40 years. Our dear friends Carlos and Hilda Garcia (and others of Mexican-Spanish background) were our close friends and fellow church members in a Southern Baptist Church in Austin, Texas for many years, and we are still friends to this day even if we are now several states apart (Latinos with a Catholic upbringing make some of the very best and happiest Baptists there are!). Shirley and I had great fun with these good friends as we played on our church softball teams. Carlos and I were in the Optimist Club together, where both of us coached Little League baseball. Our children were raised in part on Hilda's mother's recipe for "Mexican Bean Dish" which Shirley and I still fix at least once a week. The good lady was born in Mexico, and every time Hilda misplaces this recipe she always calls Shirley to get it back again.
          Moreover, having been a Project Superintendent on large Heavy Engineering and Building Construction projects in Texas for many years, I had much up close and personal contact with many Latino working people, and feel I know them as well as anyone and better than most. And knowing them, I respect them as basically good, moral, Christian people with far, far fewer bad apples than some others I can think of. I might as well point out here too, that in my young days in Houston and Beaumont before I married, I dated several girls of Mexican descent and found them to be just as respectable as any (and with such a nice "tan" too!), and I as well as all other Caucasians who I have known have always considered all Latinos "white" like us anyway - and because of our different ethnic backgrounds, very interesting and rather special to each other I might add. Those girls were as good and fine as any, and one or two of them still occupy a special place in my heart even after all these years.
          As another example, the wife of one of my best friends of 30 years is a lady of Mexican descent who is a devout Christian and as hard a worker as any there are, and we have been close with this couple for all these years. Indeed, they live near us here in Tennessee because they came to visit us from Texas on a vacation some years ago, liked the area and the people, then sold out and moved here lock, stock and barrel. Her mother was a sweet old lady who I always called "Mom" until she passed away. So I hope you can see that I know enough about people of Mexican descent to give credibility to my comments here and to what I will recommend below.

                    C) These 33 million illegal Mexican aliens are very family oriented. I have been so close with so many people of Mexican descent that I can say unequivocally that their sense of family is literally far more profound than the average white American's has become. They are about where American families were when I was a young boy growing up in the 1940's; i.e., close, respectful, tight-knit, true, God-fearing and very protective. Many will not like to hear this from me, but it is a fact that our increasingly decadent culture and godless immorality will insult and drag down most of these illegal Mexican aliens, and it is they who will wind up compromising their decent lifestyles the longer they live among us!

          So. Do you get my drift? Do you see the Silver Lining in this Horrible Situation? Are you awakening to the possibilities? Do you begin to see that this mess just may not be quite as bad as it seems, if we awaken to it in time? Are you open to the possibility that the overall results in the years to come can and may actually have a positive influence on our culture if we handle things right? Do you see that these 33 million illegal Mexican aliens overall have far more in common with Christian Republicans than godless, atheistic, Socialist Democrats? Can you see that we must receive these people evenhandedly, give them all a smile and a good word, make friends with them, help them, register them to vote as Republicans and show them that we understand them and that we want to acknowledge our common family values and common Christian, conservative beliefs?   If for no other reason sports fans, because they are here to stay, like it or not. Period. End of story.
          What about me you might ask? I have never missed a beat. I have fought against illegal Mexican immigration in vain, but I have seen this coming all along and have always positively engaged all those of Mexican descent who I have come across.   I have befriended them, welcomed them, tried to speak a little Spanish with them while encouraging and helping them to learn better English, pointed out to them the ruinous fallacy in the ruinous "bilingual education" pushed by the Liberal Democrat Agenda, and I have and am doing all I can to make Republican Americans of them and to integrate them into our society... be they illegal or naturalized. Moreover, I am encouraging my children at every opportunity, to see that my grandchildren take Conversational Spanish in their private schools, and learn to speak it fluently. Also, I myself am signing up for a course in Conversational Spanish at our local Community College in order to brush up on it so that I can better communicate and help these people learn English as they should and must. This is the best way, I believe it is Jesus' way, and I am following it as best I can.

          Understand it or not, like it or not, our future and that of these current 33 million illegal Mexican aliens is completely and irrevocably intertwined and it is up to we Conservative, Christian, Republican Americans to make these 33 million illegal Mexican aliens welcome, to make proud American citizens of them, and in the process to make a bright, happy, moral and Christ-centered future for us all.   If we sit back, moan and groan about it, and leave these basically good people to gravitate to the Liberal Leftist Democrats, this country will quickly turn full-bore Socialist and when next you look up, we Christians will be persecuted and living in fear, just as were the all the Jews in Nazi (National Socialist) Germany. Our Constitution and the individual freedoms it provides for us will be relics of the past, we will crumble from within and fragment from decadence and immorality, and we will disintegrate and fall in the very same way as did the Holy Roman Empire. Read that history, read what is right now, this minute, happening to us and our country - unless you and I wake up, rise up, take action and put a stop it.
          If we don't get this vision NOW, if we don't get involved NOW, close our borders, stop illegal Mexican immigration, require due legal process for naturalization, (NOT AMNESTY DISGUISED IN SOME FORM OR OTHER) and then positively engage these 33 million illegal Mexican aliens already here, we will see the disastorous result come to pass in our lifetimes, and them and us - indeed ALL of us, will suffer and pay the price.
          Mr. and Mrs. Christian, Patriotic, Conservative Republican America, good and true American Latinos, this is my word for you on this matter . What say you?
